Gandhinagar, Gujarat — The grand 24th National Wushu KungFu Championship and National Martial Arts Awards was organized with high sporting enthusiasm at the Bibipura Sports Complex in Ahmedabad on November 16-17, 2024. Athletes and master practitioners from across multiple states competed across rigorous Taolu (traditional routines) and Sanda (full-contact combat) events.
In celebration of this momentous milestone, a delegation of 19 prominent Wushu KungFu champions, technical officials, and national awardees had the distinct privilege of meeting the Hon'ble Chief Minister of Gujarat, Shri Bhupendra Patel, at his official office in Swarnim Sankul, Gandhinagar.

Chief Minister Shri Bhupendra Patel gave special appreciation to the athlete contingents and mentors hailing from Ahmedabad and Mehsana districts. Both districts showcased exemplary dominance in Sanda sparring weight classes and precision traditional weapon Taolu routines, reflecting the strong technical training groundwork structured under the district associations.
